Campers in N Slovenia urged to take shelter as storm approaches
Ljubljana, 18 July - The Environment Agency has urged people camping in northern Slovenia to take shelter immediately due to a strong storm with gale-force winds and hail moving toward the country from the northwest.

The agency issued a red alert for the northwest and northeast, as wind speeds of over 100km/h are expected. It recommended that people take shelter between 6pm and 9pm.
In Austria wins speeds between 100km/h and 160km/h were recorded.
The agency warns that the storms may also hit other parts of the country.
