Slovenia's SKB Bank Achieves Most of its 1997 Goals

The second largest Slovene bank, SKB Banka, increased its total assets by 12 percent to about SIT 238,3 billion (D-mark 2,570 million) in 1997, according to preliminary data. The gross profit rose by about five percent to SIT 2 million (D-mark 22 million) in comparison with 1996. The bank's market share last year amounted to 11.3 percent.
