Drnovšek: Political Recognition of a Minority is not what We are Dealing with

Ljubljana, 30 January - Slovenia's Prime Minister Janez Drnovšek discussed over a lunch with Austrian Vice-Chancellor and Foreign Minister Wolfgang Scuessel, who is paying a visit to Ljubljana Friday, the issue of German-speaking inhabitants of Slovenia. In the talks, attended also by Slovene Foreign Minister Boris Frlec, the Slovene and Austrian sides agreed that Slovenia does not have to politically recognize this group as minority.
