LEK Sells 20 percent more on Foreign Markets in 1997

Increasing its sales by 15 percent to SIT 43.5 billion in 1997, LEK, a Ljubljana-seated pharmaceutical producer, recorded a successful year despite some problems. Sales on foreign markets, where the Slovene pharmaceutical producer, sells 75 percent of its products, were up 20 percent over 1996, President of LEK Board Andro Ocvirk told a news conference on Thursday.
