Stress at work
"One out of four employees suffer due to stress": According to the European Foundation for the Improvement of Living and Working Conditions, one out of four employees in the EU member states experiences excessive stress at work, and the proportion is the same in Slovenia. (front page, 3)

Real estate management
"Merger of real estate of SSH and DSU": The state-owned real estate investment firm DSU could this year become the manager of the entire real estate portfolio of Slovenian Sovereign Holding (SSH), in accordance with the annual plan of SSH. Both companies expect synergy effects. (front page, 8)

Handball
"Slovenians open European championship with a win": The Slovenian men's handball team opened the European Handball Championship in Berlin on Thursday with a 32:29 win against the Faroe Islands. The debutants on the European stage were a tough opponent for Slovenia, who managed to make a separation only late in the second half. (front page, 18)

"Tax reform of Golob's government, attempt two": While the first attempt at reforming the tax system failed last year, Prime Minister Robert Golob announced that starting points for a tax reform would be known by the end of the first quarter of the year. The government is expected to again try to introduce a real estate tax. (front page, 2)

South Africa's case against Israel
"South Africa after Israel over genocide in Gaza": South Africa yesterday presented its arguments in the lawsuit against Israel at the International Court of Justice (ICJ) over its accusations of genocide in the Gaza Strip. It demands that Israel cease the military operation in Gaza. (front page, 6, commentary 12)
