Income from Tourism Down in 1997
Ljubljana, 18 February - SLOVENIA/TOURISM/INCOME
Slovenia's income from tourism amounted to US$ 1.18 billion in 1997, down four percent or US$ 47.2 million from 1996. In trips abroad Slovenes spent a total of 544,150,000 U.S. dollars, about the same as in 1996, according to the Association for Tourism and Restaurant Service of the Chamber of Economy of Slovenia.
