Ljubljana, 27 February - NATO Secretary General Solana's visit to Ljubljana might again tempt local politicians to build public expectation regarding NATO membership. Favourably disposed Solana always drops a flattering line or two, although he is characteristically exhaustive when it comes to general principles and short on concrete matters. During his visit to Budapest he skilfully avoided any mention of Slovenia as our accession to the prestigious military alliance is clearly a moving target. True, the philosophy of NATO's open doors has been generally accepted, but the second round of enlargement has no clear time frames and the list of invited countries is yet to be written, daily Delo writes on Friday.
