FDI Surge Set Out in 1997

Ljubljana, 7 April - INVESTMENTS/ECONOMIC/MIRROR
The balance of foreign direct investments to Slovenia increased in the 1993-1996 period from US$ 954 million to US$ 1.93 bullion, a rise of 102.7 percent. According to the Office for Macroeconomic Analyses and Development, increase was recorded not only in the balance but also the volume of annual FDI.
