Education minister resignation surprises coalition, headteachers

Ljubljana, 17 September - Coalition parties and headteacher associations were surprised by Education Minister Darjo Felda tendering his resignation on Tuesday, while the teachers' trade union said the move was expected. Vinko Logaj who has been nominated to replace him is mostly seen as a competent, experienced candidate.
