Israeli Ambassador: The Affair a Storm in a Glass of Water

The affair involving a secret agreement between Slovene and Israeli military intelligence services is an internal affair of Slovenia. The talks with President Kučan and Foreign Minister Frlec have confirmed both parties' interest not only to continue, but to deepen bilateral cooperation. The incident is thus a storm in a glass of water. To misuse issues so delicate as is intelligence cooperation with other countries in internal political disputes is not exactly recommendable as it irreversibly blemishes the international credibility of a state, Israeli Ambassador to Slovenia Nathan Meron said in an interview for Friday's Delo.
