Novo Mesto, 14 April - BANKS/OPERATIONS
Dolenjska banka, a Slovene commercial bank, last year recorded an increase of 22 percent in its assets, which totalled SIT 64.7 billion (US$ 378 million) at the end of 1997. Allowing for last year's inflation, the assets were up by 12 percent in real terms. With such growth the bank exceeded its annual plan by eight percent, General Manager Franc Borsan told a news conference on Tuesday.
