Slovene Police Seize 11 Kilo Heroin

Slovene policemen seized 11 kilograms of very pure heroin worth DM 3.2 million on Monday, 13 April in Nova Gorica. In a longer police action conducted in coordination with Macedonian police, one Macedonian and one Czech citizens, who attempted to smuggle the shipment to Italy, were arrested, an Interior Ministry official told a news conference on Wednesday. This is one of the largest drug shipments ever seized in Slovenia.
