Proposed Mini Memorandum On Succession Acceptable for Slovenia

Slovene succession negotiations team fully accepts the latest mini memorandum drafted by Sir Arthur Watts, Slovenia's chief negotiator Miran Mejak said after talks Friday with international negotiator for succession to former Yugoslavia, Sir Arthur Watts. Watts said Slovenia's stand on the memorandum was positive, adding a very similar stand was also held by Macedonia. Sir Watts was received in the morning by Foreign Minister Boris Frlec and State Secretary Ernest Petrič, and a meeting with Prime Minister Janez Drnovšek is scheduled for the afternoon.
