Pensions Reform Debated at Conference on Slovene Banks and EU

Ljubljana, 23 April - Slovene accession to the European Union, the European Monetary Union, euro and international monetary markets were discussed by eminent Slovene economists at a conference "Slovene Banks and the European Union" in Ljubljana on Thursday. The afternoon session concentrated on other issues, including the influence of euro to banking operations, cancellation of revaluations in view of EU accession and the activities of the Association of Banks of Slovenia in adjusting the Slovene banking sector to EU standards.
