Volume of Trade between Slovenia and Canada Shrinks

Ljubljana, 23 April - The Slovene Chamber of Economy (GZS) organized Thursday a seminar Doing Business with Canada, a country with which the volume of trade has been decreasing. Representatives of Slovenia and Canada discussed potentials for stronger economic cooperation. Trade exchange between the countries amounted to SIT 60 million in 1997 over 1996, with Slovenia's exports to Canada going down 17 percent in the same period.
