Večer fears number of wars and victims will increase

Ljubljana, 28 December - The newspaper Večer says in its commentary on Saturday that there had been a record 59 armed conflicts between countries last year, according to Uppsala University. Figures were even higher in 2024. It fears that the number of conflicts and victims would only increase in 2025 because western countries are reserved about making decisive steps.
