Termo Wins Windows World Open Award

Škofja loka-based insulation materials manufacturer Termo won the first place in the industrial engineering category at the Windows World Open '98 competition of computer applications for windows environment. "This is an important achievement that is equal to an Olympic medal", director Janez Deželak told a news conference on Tuesday. He added the award will help Termo, an exports company, to place its products in foreign markets. Some contacts already have been established in the United States during the award presentation and the company will also start marketing its production facilities.
