Govt confirms long-awaited reform media bill

Ljubljana, 31 December - A year after an initial draft reforming the framework law governing media policy was unveiled, the government endorsed a media bill at a correspondence session on the last day of 2024. The reform bill is the first major overhaul of the Media Act in more than 20 years.
