International Conference on Forest Reserves Winds up

As there have not been many virgin forests left in Europe, it seems wise to set up a network within which research of forest reserves can be carried out more easily, which is a chief objective of campaign COST E4 "Forest Reserves Research Network", national COST E4 coordinator for Slovenia Jurij Diaci told a news conference on Tuesday at the conclusion of a four-day international meeting on forest reserves and on the COST E4 campaign. The conference was organized by the Forestry Engineering Department of the Ljubljana Polytechnic Faculty.
