Petition launched by SDS member urges govt to shelve media bill

Ljubljana, 6 January - A petition currently signed by nearly 11,000 petitioners is calling on the government to withdraw a recently unveiled reform media bill. Launched by a member of the SDS party, it mistakenly claims that under the proposal influencers would have to enter the national media register. The government finds the petition to be politically-motivated.
