Mayor accused of paedophilia decides not to step down

Dornava, 6 January - The mayor of a small municipality in NE Slovenia who had announced he would resign as of the New Year after finding himself under police investigation for trying to arrange to have sex with a minor, said on Monday he had changed his mind. In a letter to municipal councillors, he said he decided to stay on after being urged so by citizens.
