Road casualties in Slovenia at record low in 2024

Ljubljana, 7 January - The number of people who lost their lives in traffic accidents hit a record low in 2024, the Infrastructure Ministry has said. A total of 19,669 accidents handled by the police claimed 71 lives, according to interim data. In 2023, 83 people died on Slovenian roads, while the number was highest in 2016, at 130.
