May Day Celebrated Throughout Slovenia

Ljubljana, 1 May - MAY DAY/CELEBRATIONS
Numerous celebrations are being held throughout Slovenia to mark May Day, the international labour day. President Milan Kučan was honorary speaker at the traditional 1 May remembrance meeting at Javorica, about 70 kilometers SE of Ljubljana, held annually to honour the memory of World War II victims. Traditional celebration was also held on the Rožnik Hill above Ljubljana where main speaker was mayor Vika Potočnik.
