Junior coalition partners against higher defence spending

Ljubljana, 17 January - Both junior coalition parties have expressed opposition to the push for NATO members to increase the defence spending benchmark from the current 2% of GDP to over 3%. The Social Democrats (SD) say that such an amount would be too high, while the Left wonders whether participating in NATO still makes sense in the first place.
