Holocaust remembrance ceremony stresses importance of collective memory

Kranj, 22 January - Ahead of the International Holocaust Remembrance Day, celebrated on 27 January, and the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp, a ceremony was held in Kranj to commemorate Slovenian victims of the Holocaust. Speakers highlighted the importance of historical memory.
