Slovenia and Turkey to Sign a Free Trade Agreement

Ljubljana, 4 May - Minister of Economic Relations and Development Marjan Senjur and Turkish Minister Rusdu Kazim Yucelen will sign a free trade agreement between Slovenia and Turkey in Ankara on Tuesday. The agreement is expected to induce an increase in the trade between both countries, which is especially important for Slovenia's exports to Turkey. As full customs duties are imposed on Slovene goods, they can hardly compete with products from the countries that have concluded preferential agreements with Turkey.
