Several events commemorate 80th anniversary of Auschwitz-Birkenau liberation
Ljubljana, 27 January - Slovenia marked the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau with several commemorative events on Monday, including a ceremony to clean memorial stones in Ljubljana and a special address in parliament. German Ambassador Sylvia Groneick said on the occasion that remembering the victims of murderous racial fanaticism is a moral duty.
