Ljubljana utility plans EUR 100m project to reduce coal use to minimum

Ljubljana, 28 January - Energetika Ljubljana, the city's power utility, intends to replace coal-fired district heating with a biomass-fired system. The steam boiler to be used in the EUR 100 million project, which is expected to be completed by 2027, will reduce the use of coal in the capital to a minimum.
