Report: Supreme Court cuts sentence in half for Algerian stabber

Ljubljana, 30 January - The Supreme Court has annulled the ruling in the case of the Algerian man who tried to stab his friend to death in an asylum home in Ljubljana in 2022 and was sentenced to 16 years and 7 months in prison, Dnevnik reported. The court decided he was guilty of attempted manslaughter rather than attempted murder and sentenced him to 8 years.
