Efforts to improve care highlighted ahead of World Cancer Day

Ljubljana, 3 February - More than 17,000 people in Slovenia are diagnosed with cancer each year, shows data from the Cancer Registry at the Oncology Institute. Ahead of World Cancer Day on Tuesday, the hospital and the National Cancer Control Programme said that over 130,000 people living in Slovenia have received a cancer diagnosis at some point in their lives.
