SLS to hold election congress in spring amid growing discontent

Ljubljana, 4 February - The non-parliamentary People's Party (SLS) will hold an early election congress in spring having endorsed its leader Marko Balažic's proposal to do so. A once major party in parliament which remains strong at the grassroots level, the SLS has seen infighting and growing discontent among party members since the 2024 EU elections.
