Reform media bill confirmed at first reading
Ljubljana, 4 February - The reform media bill was confirmed at first reading in a partisan 46:28 vote in the National Assembly on Tuesday. The opposition warned that the bill undermines press freedom, while the coalition praised the bill for being fit for the digital age but acknowledged some corrections were needed.
