Nova Gorica and Gorizia make history
Gorizia/Nova Gorica, 8 February - A cross-border procession featuring thousands of people from both sides of the border marked the start of day-long festivities for the official opening of the European Capital of Culture 2025 on Saturday, a landmark that local officials said marked a new beginning for the border region.
