Scabies on the rise, especially among foreigners in Slovenia
Ljubljana, 19 February - A number of cases of scabies have been recorded in Slovenia, the Clinic of Dermatovenereology at the UKC Ljubljana hospital has said, stressing the importance of timely diagnosis and proper treatment. The National Institute of Public Health (NIJZ) has recorded 92 cases of the disease and two outbreaks this year.
