Dance production removed from quarry over Alpacem controversy
Nova Gorica, 19 February - A quarry operated by the Austrian-owned company Alpacem Cement will not serve as the venue for a contemporary dance show that is being produced for the European Capital of Culture after repeated protests by NGOs and culture workers' trade unions over the company's pollution record.
