More people at risk of poverty and social exclusion in 2024

Ljubljana, 20 February - The at-risk-of-poverty rate in Slovenia increased by 0.5 percentage points to 13.2% last year. The number of people with earnings below the poverty threshold increased by 12,000 to some 276,000. Meanwhile, the social exclusion rate was at 14.4%, up 0.7 points over 2023, the Statistics Office said on Thursday.
