Slovenia's Population Continues to Fall

Ljubljana, 11 May - Slovenia's population continues to follow a downward trend: the nation's population reached 1,984,923 on 31 December 1997, down 1,100 from 30 September 1997. The population of Slovenia fell 2100 in 1997, the National Statistical Office said.
