Agriculture Legislation Screening Procedure
Ljubljana, 11 May - The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Food on Monday presented an overview of preparations for the fisheries and agriculture legislation screening, and outlined two tenders, for the young farmers support project and the farm and agricultural co-operative rehabilitation project. The screening of Slovene legislation under Ministry of Agriculture competence will last at least until March or April next year. For Slovenia over 40 percent of the total of 12,215 regulations and directives the European Union has adopted since its creation concern agriculture, fisheries and food, State Secretary for Agriculture and European Affairs Franc But said on Monday.
