Lung and prostate cancer screening programmes coming

Ljubljana, 3 March - Following the introduction of screening programmes for cervical, breast and colorectal cancer, another two screening programmes - for lung and prostate cancer - are being developed in Slovenia under the auspices of the Ljubljana Institute of Oncology. The research serving as basis for the programmes is to be completed by the end of 2026.
