Delo: Minister in the Saddle of a Lipizzaner

Ljubljana, 12 May - Knocking on the door of the European Union, Slovenia simply cannot but to elaborate as best as it can its own model of food production and procession. In a way to adapt it and possibly make it pleasing with its exceptions also to the Brussels strategists of the European agricultural policy. Changing premises and additional personnel in the ministry alone will not do. It is therefore not a news what was said by the Ministry of Agriculture at Monday's news conference about the disharmony of Slovene legislation in agriculture and the necessity of 'rewriting' and translating 3,591 regulations. Neither is new the laconism of establishing there is enough time for all that, Delo points out in Tuesday's issue.
