AI employed to generate Slovenian subtitles on TV

Ljubljana, 5 March - The Culture Ministry and public broadcaster RTV Slovenija have signed a EUR 1.2 million contract for automated subtitling of TV shows in a bid to make TV content more accessible to deaf and hard-of-hearing viewers as well as to the elderly, who often find it had to follow TV content without subtitles.
