Retirement homes struggling with staff shortages

Ljubljana, 6 March - One in four retirement homes in Slovenia is understaffed and only a quarter of job vacancies were filled in 2024, shows data by the Association of Social Institutions. The situation is expected to get even worse due to a high rate of staff retirement in the coming years.
