Investigation On the Gorenjsko Heroin Connection Closed

Ljubljana, 12 May - HEROIN/SMUGGLING/INVESTIGATION/PROSECUTION
Investigation on the so called Gorenjsko Heroin Connection was closed on Friday, 8 May, by a group of special purpose state prosecutors after Slovene police broke the connection last November in collaboration with their colleagues from five other countries. Initially, investigation was started against 9 suspects and investigation against one suspect was introduced later on. Criminal complaints were filed against 7 suspects, demands for further investigation were submitted for three suspects and detention was extended for four suspects, member of the state prosecutor group Sanja Javor Pajenk, who ran the entire action, told a news conference on Tuesday.
