Number of University Dropouts Falls on Yearly Basis

Reaching 56,000 students, the number of university students in the 1997/98 academic year has exceeded expectations, according to the National Statistical Office. The number reaches nearly 65,000, if those in the final year who do not have to attend university courses anymore but should still complete their thesis are added.
