Rogge in Slovenia
Ljubljana, 14 May - SPORT/VISIT/OLYMPIC/GAMES
President of the Association of European Olympic Committees and member of the International Olympic Committee Executive Council, Jacques Rogge, arrived in Slovenia on Thursday. He was separately received by President Milan Kučan and President of the Slovene Olympic Committee Janez Kocijančič. In the interview the latter exchanged experience of the Slovene and Brussels Olympic committees, also addressing the accession of the SOC to the European Olympic committees. Rogge proposed to Slovenia to run for the Winter Olympic Days of the Young and promised marketing assistance in accession to the European Union in the sports field.
