Slovene Enterprises Also to Get Ready for Euro
Ljubljana, 15 May - Slovenia's Minister of European Affairs Igor Bavčar announced Friday, at the seminar on euro in Slovenia, taking place in the framework of the European Week in Slovenia, that government officials and central bank representatives will soon be joined in working groups for negotiations with the European Union by representatives of nongovernmental organizations, trade unions and chambers. European Commission economic advisor Dr. Rolf Kaiser in turn told to Slovene enterprises having extensive trade with the EU to have price lists and product offers worked out in euros until 1 January 1999 when the single European currency is to be introduced.
