Slovene Development Company Business Plan and Action Guidelines Presented

The Slovene Development Company (RSD) on Friday presented its 1998 business plan with strategic objectives for the 1998-2000 period. The document defines SRD's mission, strategic goals, business plans for the current year and the institutional structure. According to Director Bogdan Topič, SRD will increasingly direct its efforts to supporting development elements in Slovene enterprises to encourage production of high-tech products rather than raw materials or semi-products. The government also will have to better define its industrial policy to help SRD perform its mission.
