NGO Vitra Awarded for Democracy and Civil Society

Slovenia's environmental non-governmental organization Vitra was won Monday a U.S.-EU Democracy and Civil Society Award. The award, amounting to US$ 20,000, was presented to Vitra Director Bojan Žnidaršič by EU Ambassador to Slovenia Amir Naqvi, Ambassador of Great Britain David Lloyd and Charge d'Affaires in the U.S. Embassy in Ljubljana Paul Reid.
