Slovenia Attended Multilateral Screening of Industrial Policy Legislation

Brussels, 18 May - EU/SLOVENIA/SCREENING/INDUSTRIAL/POLICY
Slovenia participated Monday in a multilateral meeting at which industrial policy legislation was screened to establish the extent of harmonization between EU applicants' legislation and EU provisions. The Slovene delegation explained it would seek to protect Slovene pharmaceuticals producers as a vital part of the Slovene industry. In addition, Slovenia will require that its pharmaceutical industry should be treated in the same way as the rest of the leading European pharmaceutical producers.
