Writers Call on Slovene Government not to Impose VAT on Books

Writers and poets from around the world agreed Friday with a proposal of Slovene writers to call on the Slovene government not to impose VAT on books. Participants in the 31st international writers' meeting, organized by PEN Slovenia, can sign this resolution until the end of the meeting on Saturday. The document will be later submitted to the Slovene government by Slovene writers.
